The Challenge

Hardie Hearing needed a professional, content-rich website to establish their independent audiology practice in High Lane, Cheshire. As Sarah Hardie transitioned from 15 years in the NHS to independent practice, the site needed to build trust through clear presentation of qualifications, services, and expertise. The practice required a modern platform that could grow with the business, with easy content management for service updates, pricing changes, and client testimonials.

The Solution

I built a static site using Jekyll 4 and Tailwind CSS v3, providing a fast, secure, and highly maintainable platform. The architecture includes:

• Content Management: Forestry.io headless CMS integration with admin panel for easy content updates
• Modern Styling: Tailwind CSS with typography, forms, and aspect-ratio plugins for a polished, accessible design
• Optimized Images: Cloudinary integration for responsive image delivery and transformation
• Contact Forms: Formspree integration for reliable inquiry handling
• Deployment: Netlify continuous deployment with automatic builds

The site structure emphasizes the five core services (wax clearance, hearing tests, hearing aids, tinnitus support, and bespoke ear protection) with dedicated service pages, FAQs, testimonials, and comprehensive information about Sarah’s qualifications and experience.

The Result

The website successfully launched Hardie Hearing’s independent practice with a professional digital presence. The combination of Jekyll’s performance, Tailwind’s modern design system, and Forestry.io’s content management enables Sarah to easily update services and pricing while maintaining a fast, accessible site. The clear service descriptions and credibility indicators (HCPC registration, university qualifications, NHS experience) effectively communicate expertise to potential clients seeking hearing care in Cheshire.
